At 20i, we’ve always believed in delivering hosting solutions that prioritize performance, security, and reliability without compromising on customer trust.
Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re joining the Secure Hosting Alliance (SHA), a new initiative spearheaded by the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition).
This alliance aligns perfectly with our values and represents a significant step toward shaping the future of secure and ethical hosting.
Why the Secure Hosting Alliance Matters
The web hosting industry has faced increasing pressure to differentiate beyond just pricing.
For too long, the market has been dominated by providers racing to the bottom, often at the expense of quality, security, and innovation.
The SHA was founded to disrupt this trend, bringing together ethical hosting providers to set new standards for trust and excellence.
The SHA’s mission goes beyond business goals, it’s about protecting the hosting industry from harmful legislation, improving anti-abuse efforts, and creating a safer, more transparent web for all.
Members of the SHA, including 20i, will adhere to a set of industry standards that ensure quality, reliability, and customer-centric practices.
Key Goals of the Secure Hosting Alliance
SHA’s vision is to foster an ecosystem where member companies work together to develop robust standards with a core focus on security, privacy, abuse prevention, and transparency.
In service to that vision, SHA’s goals are to:
- Surface common industry standards for web hosting and cloud service providers and those who provide services in the industry around privacy, security, transparency, and ethical advertising practices.
- Develop a unified language and taxonomy for the web hosting portion of the cloud industry, setting clear definitions and fostering better communication.
- Develop and promote a cooperative framework for fraud prevention, abuse response, law enforcement coordination, domain industry collaboration, and support to enhance trust and safety in the web hosting industry.
- Engage in community-building activities, including virtual and in-person meetups at industry conferences, to facilitate collaboration and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to legislative and regulatory discussions, advocating for data protection and cybersecurity measures tailored to web hosting and cloud providers.
What this Means For Our Customers

By joining the SHA, we’re not just aligning ourselves with the best in the industry, we’re actively working to raise the bar for what customers can expect from their hosting providers.
As part of the alliance, we’ll proudly carry the Trusted Host seal, a mark of quality that distinguishes us from less reliable providers.
For our customers, this means even greater confidence in 20i as a hosting partner committed to transparency, cutting-edge security, and ethical practices.
Shaping the Future of Hosting Together
The Secure Hosting Alliance is more than an industry initiative; it’s a movement to build a safer, more resilient internet.
At 20i, we’re proud to be part of this forward-thinking group of hosting providers working to protect the industry’s future while delivering real value to our customers.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to collaborate with the SHA and other industry leaders. Together, we’re building a better web, one secure, ethical, and customer-focused hosting solution at a time.
