You’ll be provided full on-the-job training with emphasis placed heavily on personal progression in the role. The role presents a clear path to progress through the levels of support, and to other areas of the business.

The role is based at our recently refurbished offices in the 70-acre woodland park, Ransom Wood in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Given the nature of our 24/7 support team, this position is on a rotational shift basis, with the earliest start at 7am and the latest finish at 11pm. Weekend availability is also required, with a rotation of approximately one in four weekends.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and resellers, providing top-notch support through ticketing systems and live chat. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding customers through troubleshooting processes, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support when necessary. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong interest in technology, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Providing outstanding customer service is one of our key company values, and this role is crucial in ensuring that our customers have a seamless and efficient experience.

We do holidays a bit differently too: You get 33 days including bank holidays with the ability to use the bank holiday allowance whenever you like.

The following experience is required for this role:

  • Studied IT/Computer Science (or closely related) at University or College
  • A genuine love for technology.
  • Good grades at school and college.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
  • A desire to learn and progress through the business.
  • Able to reliably commute to our office in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire daily.

The following would be beneficial:

  • Experience within a Web Hosting and/or Support Desk environment.
  • Knowledge of applications like WordPress, Joomla and WHMCS a major advantage.
  • A good understanding of DNS and Domains.
  • Familiarity with the Linux Command Line Interface.
  • An understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
