What is Google Cloud Platform (GCP) web hosting through 20i?
20i GCP Managed Cloud Hosting gives you easy access to one of the best hosting platforms in the world. For a predictable and transparent monthly fee, your website(s) will be hosted on high-performance Google servers, and take advantage of Google’s Tier 1 network. You can manage your hosting on a simple, user-friendly control panel, My20i. You get all the advantages that that the GCP provides, without the complex admin.
Your sites will be allocated server resources – cores, RAM and storage – based on the GCP Hosting plan you choose. Those resources will be used to serve your websites only.

What are the specs of a Google Cloud Platform server through 20i?
GCP will use Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Cascade Lake and Ice Lake). The 1 core option could use Skylake, Broadwell, Haswell, Sandy Bridge, or Ivy Bridge. They use DDR4 RAM and Google SSD storage, and make use of Google’s premium Tier 1 network.
What CMS can I use with 20i Google hosting?
You can use any Linux-compatible CMS, like Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress and many more. We include over 80 one-click-install web apps that you can use to create a site or add more functionality to your current one.
How long will it take for my Google server to be up and running?
Once you’ve made payment, we’ll begin setting up your virtual machine at Google. This is an automated process. Typically, it will take less than ten minutes from payment to creating your first Managed Cloud Hosting package.
Can I choose which GCP data centre that my sites are hosted?
Yes: when you launch your Managed Cloud Hosting on the Google Cloud Platform, you’ll get a choice of zones. We’d recommend choosing the one closest to your primary markets for performance, but a global CDN will still be included.
