Are there many .online domains left?
Yes: ‘.online’ is relatively new, so is sometimes used by companies who aren’t able to secure ‘.com’ or similar. But we wouldn’t want to demote it to a ‘second choice’. For many new web-based businesses, it’s the best choice!
Should I register other versions of my .online TLD?
We’d recommend buying other available versions of your company name with different popular top-level domains. It’s to protect your brand and customers.
For example, if you had the yourcompany.online web address, a competitor or criminal could buy yourcompany.com. They could use it to compete, or even worse: fool your customers into being scammed.
How do I start saving on renewal prices by transferring my '.online' domain to you?
It’s easy to transfer a domain to 20i. You will need to get the domain name authorisation code from your current provider. Then, you need to search for it in our ‘Transfer a domain’ tool in our control panel, My20i.
You can then start the transfer, which can take up to five days (but your website will remain online). The transferral fee will give you one year’s registration of the domain.
